Emergency services are on the scene of a crash in Mendlesham Green where the car has come off the road and ended up in a ditch.
Police were called at 12.52pm to the single vehicle crash close to Lamberts Lane.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said a person was trapped in the vehicle and that crews were at the scene to help get them out.
He said: “There is a person trapped in their vehicle.
“The vehicle is on its side in a ditch wedged between trees in a difficult position where it is difficult to access.”
He said three fire engines - one from Ipswich Princes Street, one from Stowmarket and one from Elmswell - has been sent to the scene.
A police spokeswoman added that it is likely a road closure would be taking place and that diversions would be put in place.
