Firefighters work to free woman

FIREFIGHTERS were called into action today after a road accident left a woman trapped in a car in a ditch.

FIREFIGHTERS were called into action today after a road accident left a woman trapped in a car in a ditch.

The woman sustained minor injuries in the accident on the B1113 at Bacton and was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital.

The woman's car was partially in a ditch and first aid was administered while crews released her at around 9am.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident, but it was re-opened at around 9.40am.
