FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a series of vehicle blazes in Suffolk.
At around 7.40pm last night crews were called to Oxford Road in Ipswich to tackle a small fire under the bonnet of a car which was under control within ten minutes.
Then at just before 11.10pm there was a call to another car fire in Nayland Road, Bures, and five minutes later a call to a car fire in Rede Way, Great Cornard. Both blazes were quickly stopped.
And at just after 1am this morning Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service received a call to Watson's Corner in Polstead where a static home was on fire.
No one was inside and the fire was under control by 2am.
