FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a blaze on board a fish and chip van in Suffolk this evening.

Two crews from Stradbroke and Framlingham were called to the scene on the Church Plain in Laxfield at about 5.39pm.
A fire was found under the fat fryer in the van and crews had to use a dry powder extinguisher to bring the flames under control within an hour.
