A SAILOR with a suspected broken arm was taken off a fishing boat off the East Anglian coast last night.
The fishermen was taken off the 55 metre French fishing vessel Halten Bank which was lying 6 miles off Lowestoft.
He was brought back to shore by the Lowestoft lifeboat and taken to the James Paget Hospital, Gorleston.
Mike Richford, press officer for Lowestoft Lifeboat, said the boat had been launched at 6pm and the crew took the sailor off the French fishing vessel in a moderate swell.
