MOTORISTS faced long delays after a five-car crash at a notorious accident blackspot today which left a single carriageway road blocked for at least two hours.
The five-car collision on the northbound A11, London Road, at Elveden happened shortly before 11.30am.
The vehicles - a silver Mercedes 180, brown Renault Megane, black Volkswagen Golf, red Ford Focus and one other car - blocked the single carriageway road for at least two hours before they were cleared, building up long traffic delays for bank holiday commuters.
Ambulance and fire services also attended the scene, although no one was seriously injured.
