FIRE crews from across west Suffolk were dispatched to put out a fire which engulfed two garages near Sudbury.
The blaze at Cedar Walk in Acton, near Sudbury, was reported at private garages at 9.30am today.
Crews from Long Melford and Sudbury were called in first, followed by two further fire engines from Bury St Edmunds and a second one from Sudbury.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said the blaze had taken hold in two garages in a complex of five garages and the fire had spread to the roof.
The incident was under control by 11.30am.
