Re: East Stow Police Bowls match in Stowmarket, September 1990

I am confident that the match was played at Woodfield Bowls Club, Lockington Road.

Top row first from the right is Grant Nunn and the third from the right is Brian Killett. The match, I believe, was an annual affair and Woodfield loaned them the ground for several years in the 90s.

Re: the names of those in the photograph.

Back row (L to R): Jim Rudd, Derek Hazelwood, Joe Sutton, second lady is Mary Hardy, Brian Killett.

Front row: The bowler is myself and to the right with hat is Reg Haydon.

Sorry I cannot remember the names of the others.

I retired before 1990 and I don’t think I have seen any of them since this date. I received this from a friend who lives in Suffolk.

The gentleman with the stick and map is Eric Borley.

He used to have a car tuning business in Mendlesham in the 70s.
