A fire at a block of flats in Ipswich is now being treated as arson.
An investigation is underway today after a fire was started in the letterbox of a flat in Riverside Road.
The blaze was started when papers were put through the flat's letterbox.
Two firecrews from Princes Street fire station were called to the flat at just before 9pm last night.
No one was at home at the time of the incident but the flat was badly smoke logged as a result.
A Suffolk police spokesman said the fire was being treated as arson with intent to endanger life.
