Paul Gooch, 33, lives in Stowmarket with his fiancée Kelly.
He is a “floating voter” who backed Labour in 2001 and 2005 but voted Conservative in the last general election. He works as a Data Analyst for Aromatic Flavours & Fragrances UK Ltd.
He said: “Over the last five years the company I work for has increased in size and turnover consistently. I have received pay increases every year (starting from just over minimum wage) and two promotions along the way.
“My partner was made redundant about five years ago. We have got engaged and moved house last year. We have a mortgage and are planning home improvements this year. We holiday abroad every year.”
He pays close attention to political events, and is well aware of the issues surrounding a young couple who have just got on to the housing ladder.
