TORRENTIAL downpours and stormy weather has led to police officers closing one flooded lane of the A14 today.
The deluge yesterday has resulted in a huge build-up of surface water on the eastbound carriageway at Rougham near Bury St Edmunds.
A Suffolk police spokesman said the fast lane is expected to be closed for the rest of today and into tomorrow, as more heavy rain is predicted to hit the region this evening.
