ROCKET boss John Sampford had special words for reserve Luke Bowen after Saturday's victory over Sheffield Tigers.
Bowen top scored for Rye House as they beat their dogged Yorkshire opponents 52-38. The 'Bowen 747' at one stage took four consecutive rides, notching 10 points in the process.
“That is a lot of hard work no matter where you are,” said Sampford.
“He's a fit young man and tonight he's really pulled it out of the fire for us. He's flying at the moment and brimming with confidence.”
