AS the Tour of Britain sped through Halstead it was time for the riders to grab food at the feed station.
Re-fuelled, the race showed no signs of slowing down and the two leaders, Tom Murray (Sigma Sport) and Pieter Jacobs (Topsport Vlaanderen), still held the lead, with a two minute advantage, although it had been up to 3mins. 12 secs.
The Sky team were doing all they could at the front to get themselves into a decent position, and the crowds continued to be massive, especially in Halstead.
