FOOTBALL legend Jimmy Greaves was in Chelmsford yesterday for the launch of a new charity card shop.
The ex-England star and television personality was at the town's library in the morning to declare its Cards for Good Causes shop open.
The shop aims to raise money for national and global charities by selling Christmas cards up until December 19.
Essex county councillor Iris Pummell, cabinet member for external relations and partnerships, said: “By buying from Cards for Good Causes, we can please our friends and relations and benefit our favourite charities.”
