The incident happened on the A14
A car overturned on the A14 causing delays for motorists heading towards Newmarket.
Police were called at 7.20am to the road at Risby, west of Bury St Edmunds, after a blue Ford Mondeo suffered a blowout.
A force spokeswoman said the car was “upside down” but the male driver was not thought to be injured. One lane was blocked and motorists were delayed.
A recovery team had arrived to remove the car at 8.40am.
