POOLE chief Matt Ford insists he is taking nothing for granted despite a brilliant start to the season.
The Pirates face Coventry in their Wednesday night Elite League action at Wimborne Road.
He said: “Of course I am very happy with the start we have made to the season but there are no prizes for being top of the league this year.
“Under the play-off rules this season all four qualifying sides have equal chance when the semi-finals come around and that is still a way off yet. I am expecting a number of clubs to make serious changes over the next few weeks or so. The hard work has yet to be done.”
