A motorbike thief appears to be plaguing a Suffolk village after two were stolen in a matter of weeks.

Between 9-11pm on Friday a red Yamaha 125 was stolen from Park Avenue in Fornham St Martin. The bike had been parked securely in a front garden.

The bike was found the following day in Parklands Green, Fornham St Genevieve, having sustained damage.

The incident is being linked to another theft in the village the previous weekend, where a red Honda 125 was stolen between 9pm on Saturday, December 14 and 1am the following day, also in Park Avenue.

Anyone with information should contact PC Tim Bond at Bury St Edmunds Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 5555 111.
