A CRASH on the A12 caused severe traffic congestion in the Woodbridge area tonight.
Firefighters worked to release a woman trapped in one of four cars involved in the pile-up on the southbound carriageway of the trunk road.
The road was blocked from around 7.40pm and the woman was freed by 8.05pm.
Police then had to clear the debris from the scene before traffic could flow freely.
