Four crews went to the blaze

Fire crews were called to tackle a building fire in Newmarket.

It broke out shortly after 8pm on Tuesday in Market Street, and crews from Newmarket, Wickhambrook, Burwell and Ixworth attended.

Crews forced entry into the building and used one hose reel jet, one 45ml jet and two sets of breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. This incident was under control within an hour.
