Emergency services were called to a crash between two cars in Old Newton on Friday evening.
A volunteer critical care team from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) was called shortly after 7.30pm to reports of two cars colliding, with a total of eight passengers involved.
The SARS team worked alongside East of England Ambulance Service paramedics to assess the passengers, which were considered mostly walking wounded.
Four patients were later taken to West Suffolk hospital for further checks, although their injuries are not believed to be serious.
