Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a curry house in Framlingham.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a curry house in Framlingham.

A theif made his way into India Curry in Station Road on Tuesday, February 6 at just after 3pm when staff were not around.

He went behind the serving counter and helped himself to a large red jar filled with tips that had been handed to staff and an orange coloured metal jar that was full of cash being collected for charity.

The burglar also tried to break into the shop’s cash till using a knife that he took from the kitchen area.

Police both jars were full of large quantities of cash.

They have released two CCTV images of an individual they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The pictures show a hooded individual, wearing jeans and carrying an over-the-shoulder ‘Mckenzie’ bag.

In one image, the person is carrying a carrier bag.
