Knights and princesses are being encouraged to polish their armour and dust off their tiaras for action-packed events at a Suffolk castle.

Organisers of the popular sessions at Framlingham Castle, due to run from February 12 to February 16, are telling visitors that it is time for them to learn the tools of the trade as they become a knight or a princess for the day.

Courtly experts at the castle will teach youngsters and adults alike skills in chivalry and etiquette, English Heritage bosses said.

They added: “You’re cordially invited to Framlingham Castle where our courtly experts will teach you skills in heroic chivalry and eloquent etiquette.

“You would be a jabbering jester to miss it.”

The event is suitable for families, according to the English Heritage website.

Sessions run from 11am-3pm throughout the week.
