A crowd of Ed Sheeran fans is expected to descend on a Suffolk charity shop today, as the star’s sought-after collection of clothing goes on sale.
Last week, Ed’s parents delivered bags full of clothing to St Elizabeth Hospice and Sue Ryder shops in Framlingham, and to the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices fundraising office in Ipswich.
St Elizabeth Hospice launched a five-day eBay auction last night for a number of items. Today the charity’s Framlingham shop, in Market Hill, will be selling off more when the first-come first-served sale begins at 10am.
Rachail Pollard, shop manager, said: “We are extremely grateful to Ed Sheeran and his family for this donation to their local shop. There has been a lot of interest in Suffolk and worldwide so we have tried to ensure all those interested are catered for.”
On Monday, EACH began a 10-day auction of its first batch of items of the singer-songwriter’s clothing.
In May, Suffolk Family Carers, received about 15 items of Sheeran’s clothing, which it will also auction on eBay.
The Sue Ryder shop is holding a one-off auction on Good Friday.
