Two Suffolk town councillors are to undertake a 46 mile sponsored walk along the county’s coastline raising funds to help for disadvantaged children.

Framlingham Town Council’s Gary Kitching and Spadge Hopkins will walk from Felixstowe Ferry to Lowestoft Pier on Saturday in aid of Inspire Suffolk – the charity chosen by Suffolk County Council’s chairman Stephen Burroughes for his year in office. Mr Burroughes, who also represents the Framlingham division, said: “We owe it to all our children and young people to give them the best possible start in life and I believe we can help to do this by supporting Inspire Suffolk.”

The charity helps children in difficult circumstances to overcome personal challenges by providing new focus and direction.
