A STUBBLE blaze near Framlingham can be seen from miles away, according to witnesses.
Clouds of smokes and billowing flames have been reported in fields in Cransford.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said they were informed by a farmer that a controlled stubble fire would be taking place this afternoon.
No firefighters are needed at the scene.
