A Suffolk GP surgery has bought a new life-saving heart monitor thanks to a generous donation.

Framlingham Medical Practice was handed almost £2,000, which was raised at the Kettle Auto Jumble on Monday, May 28.

The surgery used the money to purchase a new 24-hour portable electrocardiogram (ECG) machine, which is used to diagnose and monitor patients with heart conditions.

Around £1,000 in proceeds was also given to St Andrew’s Church in Kettleburgh for its “fabric fund” for upkeep of the building.

The Kettle Auto Jumble has been running for 14 years.

Items put on sale and display include tractor parts, automobile parts, motorcycle parts, stationary engines and bygones.

The jumble is organised by Derek Holt.

The next event will be on Sunday, July 29 at Church Farm, Kettleburgh, near Woodbridge.
