Clean for The Queen was the motto of the Framlingham Women’s Institute as they conducted a litter pick of the town at the weekend.
The group began their quest at Fen Meadow at 10am - complete with high-visibility jackets and crowns - and continued to collect litter from around the town for around two hours.
A number of businesses in the market town showed their support by cleaning up areas outside their shops, while members of Framlingham Town Council got involved by cleaning railings in Riverside.
It formed part of a national Clean for The Queen campaign to give Her Majesty a cleaner county for her birthday.
Carolyn Baird, from Framlingham WI, said: “We ended up with 12 bags of rubbish. It was certainly worth doing. Framlingham is quite a nice, clean place to start with.”
