Music enthusiast Daniel Harvey is running the Friday sessions at Suffolk Young People’s Health Project (4YP) in Lower Brook Street, which features people being able to learn about the evolution of different styles of music, and help understand the creative process.

It is hoped the project will lead to work placements and volunteering opportunities with media and music projects.

Daniel Harvey said: “Engaging young people with music is so important. It promotes participation and builds upon their communication skills. Music connects us all together and it’s a universal language that everyone can speak. It’s powerful.”

The next session on Friday, September 15 runs from 6.30-8pm and will explore the Blues following sessions on hip hop and funk.
