DETECTIVES are today appealing for information following a burglary in north-east Essex.
The break-in happened in Frinton when thieves forced their way into a house on First Avenue during the late afternoon / or early evening on March 17.
Nearly �2,000 of jewellery was stolen.
Investigating Officer, Dc Andrea Ford, said: “These thieves got into the property by smashing a front ground-floor window so we’re hoping someone would have heard or seen this.”
A forensic examination of the scene was conducted and house-to-house enquiries were completed.
Anyone with information in connection with this burglary is urged to contact detectives at Clacton police station on 101.
