It was a frosty start to the day for many people across Suffolk and North Essex who had to get out their scapers and clear their windscreens.
Temperatures dropped to below zero but had got slightly warmer as the moring progressed as the frost melted away.
Lots of sunshine is due throughout the day with temperatures reaching between 5 and 6 degrees but forecasters said that it would feel substantial lower due to the cold wind coming down from the north.
If you have any photographs of the frost this morning then send them to suffolkpicturedesk@archant.co.uk or newsroom@archant.co.uk
