More than 30 train services in the region have been cancelled today due to track problems near London, a derailed freight train in Suffolk, and other problems. See if your travel plans have been affected here.

Due to a speed restriction over defective track between Manor Park and Ilford, trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines towards Shenfield, Southend Victoria and Chelmsford.

Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day, Greater Anglia said.

Meanwhile, the derailed freight train is still causing major disruption between Bury St Edmunds and Peterborough.

The last 11 wagons on the 33-wagon train came off the track, causing major damage to both tracks just to the west of the Ely North junction on Monday afternoon.

A replacement bus service is in operation between Bury St Edmunds and Peterborough. Repair work by Network Rail is expected to be finished by the end of Monday (August 21), pushed back from an earlier estimation of Saturday.
