A Suffolk heritage railway is holding a beer festival at the end of the month.
On August 30 and 31, Mid Suffolk Light Railway (MSLR) at Brockford Station in Wetheringsett, is holding the ‘rail ‘n’ ale’ weekend, offering local real ales from the railway’s bar coach, The Kitchener Arms. In addition, there will be an added attraction as visitors will be able to sample railway-themed beers on a moving train – a first for MSLR. It is the railway’s last major event of the summer programme, but is already taking bookings for Santa Specials. For the full programme and entry prices see www.mslr.org.uk
