A Great Barton fundraising event held in memory of a friend has raised £4,000 for charity.
The evening – with band, raffle and auction – at Great Barton Village Hall last month was organised by Sharon Ungless in memory of Dianne Moore.
The funds raised were donated to St Nicholas’ Hospice Care, where Dianne was cared for before she died, and Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Ms Moore, 55, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2013, spent three weeks at the hospice before she passed away in 2014.
