Drivers faced rush hour delays after fire crews today attended a blaze in a furniture van on the A14.
They were called out to a transit van containing furniture which was well alight on the westbound carriageway of the A14 between junctions 37 and 36 at Exning, near Newmarket.
Firefighters from Newmarket fire station managed to get the blaze under control by 8am but there were long tailbacks along the A14, being managed by Cambridgeshire Police.
No one was injured in the fire.
