Huntingdon MP Jonathan Djanogly has been told by the Department of Transport that it can not be seen to be influenced and therefore declined to discuss the matter face-to-face.

Now businesses in Cambridgeshire are urging people to lobby the government with letters venting their anger over the A14.

A �1.3billion upgrade of the road is looking unlikely after the Secretary of State for Transport, Philip Hammond, warned there would be far less money spent on new roads.
