A Christmas exhibition, which showcases a range of works from contemporary artists, printmakers, sculptors and potters, is underway at the Mill Tye Gallery and Arts Centre, in Cornard Mills, near Sudbury.

It is running throughout December up to January 7 and features works from renowned and undiscovered talents in the world of painting, pottery, textiles, printmaking and sculpture, and includes exclusive pieces of work that have been created for the gallery.

Profiled artists include Kieran Page, Jonathan Edwards, Alison Coath, Mick Manning, Paul Cleden, Hannah Forward, Colin Moore, Andy Lovell, Brita Granström, Hannah Farthing, Clare Curtis, Carl Newman, Neil Tregear, Hannah Rumsey and Elaine Marshall.

Peter Rumsey, from the gallery, said: “We have Christmas all wrapped up for people who are looking for that unique gift for a loved one. Our Christmas exhibition features special sculptures from Carl Newman, including a magnificent Leaping Hare, as well as pottery from Neil Tregear. We also have a range of home accessories, gifts, books and cards, offering something for everyone.”

The event comes before the gallery’s next exhibition which is scheduled to start on Friday, March 9 and runs through to May 6.
