A DANCE school that was set up by a former commercial bank manager with a background in dance has celebrated its first anniversary.

Christine Glancy, who has been a dance teacher for about 20 years, started Dancing Stars in January last year. Based in Bury St Edmunds, the school currently runs Dance with Mummy and Little Stars Ballet classes for children. Last week the two classes came together at the Southgate Community Centre in Bury to mark the milestone.

Classes are held at the Southgate and Moreton Hall Community Centres and Mrs Glancy also works with adults with learning difficulties and provides after-school clubs and tuition in nurseries.
