TENS of thousands turned out to enjoy this year’s Clacton air show which included an appearance from the world’s last flying Vulcan bomber.
Fortunately the skies remained blue throughout the day and crowds filled the beaches and the main site on the town’s West Greensward yesterday.
Highlights included the Trig Aerobatic team, the RAF Falcons parachute display team and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
The show will open again today from 11am with flights starting from 1pm. The Red Arrows are expected to thrill audiences again after missing last year’s show after the death of one of its pilots.
