Proud fathers went back to the classroom to spend some quality time with their loved ones.
Melton Primary School, near Woodbridge, held a special Dads Day recently.
As well as spending time in the classroom taking part in various activities and learning alongside their children, the VIP visitors were also asked to lead some lunchtime games.
The day was arranged back in January to allow as many dads as possible to get along and linked in with the school’s work around Father’s Day earlier this month.
Headteacher Mark Girling said: “We believe that relationships between home and school are vital in supporting children’s academic progress.
“By getting all parents involved, coming to see what we do and learning with their children, hopefully they feel that they have both confidence in the work of the school and the chance to be an active part of their child’s school life.”
