The skies above Framlingham were full of the hope this morning, light, fluffy clouds set against a brilliant blue backdrop.

But within moments photographer Sarah Lucy Brown but watched it change beyond all recognition.

She captured the change in a series of photos, see our gallery.

“The colours are incredible and quite a contrast from the blue to the dark grey, all in a matter of minutes,” she said.

And with the black skies came a ferocious stormy and heavy downpours that spread over large swathes of the county.

The weather has been somewhat changeable over recent days and is set to alter again this weekend. Be prepared for some colder days and even the threat of snow in coastal areas.
