DUCKS took to the river on Saturday to raise money for a Scouting group’s new headquarters.
More than 500 people turned out for 1st Grundisburgh Scout Group’s annual duck race which organisers have said has raised close to �2,500.
The money will go towards the Scout’s planned new building which will also operate as a community centre.
Group Scout leader, Stuart Ross said: “It went very well, it was very successful. It was very entertaining to see 2,000 ducks go down the river.”
