STUDENTS got into the spirit of World Book Day by dressing up as their favourite characters and bringing their stories to life.
Pupils at Orwell Park School in Ipswich celebrated the day by impersonating famous literary figures from The Wizard of Oz to Harry Potter.
The pupils discussed their favourite books in a special assembly, literary quizzes were held during the day, and Year 3 pupils visited pre-prep students to make up stories about their characters, bringing their heroes to life.
An Orwell Park School spokesman said: βIt was a brilliant day. The children learnt a lot and had fun dressing up as their favourite characters and making up stories about them.β
