These magnificent aerial images depict the enormous scale of Suffolk’s growing renewable energy industry from a perspective rarely seen.
Taken from the sky by flying photographer Mike Page, the pictures show a 55-acre solar farm next to the Bernard Matthews factory in Holton, near Halesworth, and a 26-acre development off Quay Lane, in Reydon, near Southwold.
The Holton site is part of the turkey giant’s bid to become an energy neutral business in time for 2020, while the Reydon project, developed by German-based AEE Renewables, has the capacity to produce power for up to 1,362 homes.
