LARGE crowds lined the streets of Mendlesham as the historic village’s annual fair took place.
Folk dancing, samba drumming and morris men were all on the agenda at the Mendlesham Street Fair yesterday.
One of the most popular attractions was the traditional procession, led by May Princess Holly Lummis, aged eight, and her attendants, school friends Elle Jordan and Leah Cracknell.
An array of craft, gift and game stalls were dotted around the village while entertainer Steve Sausage put in an appearance.
The event was organised by Mendlesham Community Council and saw many village shops and the village pubs open up all day.
