A bus was struck by a flailing chain from a passing skip lorry, destroying the windows down one side, in Bury St Edmunds today.
The skip lorry driver is believed to have left the scene of the accident, on Fornham Road, where a Mulleys bus was severely damaged.
Police could not say whether anyone was on board at the time of the incident, which happened opposite the Esso petrol station at around 8.15am this morning.
At this moment in time, police could not offer a description of the skip lorry, and have not said whether they are investigating any suspected crime.
