PUPILS are this week enjoying a well-earned rest after a busy half-term in the classroom.

Several schools and nurseries across Suffolk have been visited by Oftsed inspections this half term, and in the latter half of last year, and the results have been good.

Others that were previously judged to be outstanding or good have been subject to interim reports that have confirmed that they are still performing well.

Our gallery, above right, shows all those schools that have had something to celebrate this half-term.

However, overall Suffolk is still struggling against other local authorities, with high schools dropping 20 places down the league tables for GCSE results.

What do you think should be done to improve attainment across the board?
