Sixth form students entered the world of high fashion and helped raise more than £3,000 for mental health charity, YoungMinds.
Woodbridge School students took to the catwalk in styles from professional and casual wear, to elegant vintage and modern attire, with all clothing and accessories supplied by local shops.
The show featured items from Woodbridge boutiques Fanny & Frank, Chatterton’s, Anna, and Laura Jane, as well as Phoebe & Flo, Urban Vintage and Coes in Ipswich, Collen & Clare and Vintage Angels in Aldeburgh, and Kings Saddlery in Hasketon. The show also included designs by sixth-formers Millie Buckley and Johnny O’Grady.
Nicki Carter, head of sixth form, thanked the boutiques that contributed clothes, Just Hair and Little Luxuries for taking care of hair and make-up behind the scenes, and other local businesses for raffle prizes.
She said: “With everyone’s support, the students raised more than £3,000 for YoungMinds, which is a great achievement.”
