A day of fun on a town park has seen children enjoying sports games.
The event, held on the Recreation Ground in Stowmarket, saw youngsters getting involved with activities including football, rounders and volleyball.
It was the second day of the Summer Roadshows events which has been funded by Suffolk police and Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils and Stowmarket Town Council.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said: “We were really pleased with how the Summer Roadshow went and the response we got from residents was brilliant.”
“It is always good to get together with partner agencies and the local community but the main thing was that we got some great weather and the kids had a lot of fun.”
The day saw children on the park between 10am and 4pm on Tuesday after the first event was held on July 23.
Stephanie Lloyd, Babergh and Mid Suffolk’s community development officer for health and well-being, said: “Days like these work well for one reason – everyone is involved, the council, the police, the local housing teams and the local community. If everyone is on board they all want it to work as it benefits all of us – a real community approach.”
