A SUFFOLK nursery had a wild time celebrating its eighth anniversary.
Children at Rendlesham Day Nursery prowled, pounced and roared their way through the celebratory occasion.
The nursery was set up by husband- and-wife team Dan and Tina Powick in April 2005.
The couple had left London two years earlier for Mrs Powick’s home town of Woodbridge and trained as childminders before opening the nursery in Rendlesham.
In July 2008 they opened Bridge Farm Day Nursery on the border of Woodbridge and Martlesham.
The jungle-themed celebration included a visit from dance instructor Sophie Tott. She led a “jungle boogie” with the children, who have also been on their own safari to Colchester Zoo in the last year.
The nursery recently raised £1,000 for Comic Relief and also sponsors a child in Africa.
