VOLKSWAGEN enthusiasts flocked to the first ever car show of its kind this weekend.
The event, which took place at the Mid Suffolk Showground in Stonham Aspal on Saturday and Sunday, saw scores of classic Beatles, campers and beach buggies on display.
Organised by Volkswagen owners club, Suffolk Bugrs, the event attracted thousands of people over the two days. Visitors of all ages, many of whom camped overnight, got the chance to enjoy live entertainment, visit trade stands and take part in various competitions.
Tig Morton, who is on the Suffolk Bugrs committee, said: “It was an absolutely brilliant atmosphere. This was the first VW show for us and it went really well.
“Andrew and Naomi Wilcox, who founded the club, have always dreamt of having a weekend event so this was great.”
